Authors are invited to submit abstracts of papers before the advertised due date. All papers (original papers, position papers, reports on intended research or on-going work) are welcome addressing, but not limited to, the themes of interest. Upon notification of acceptance of abstract, authors should submit a full paper corresponding to the abstract to the symposium in accordance with the paper submission schedule.

Abstracts and papers submitted will be peer reviewed by the Scientific Committee before acceptance. Abstracts and papers may by accepted, accepted with revision necessary subject to the Scientific Committee recommendations or rejected as not being relevant to the symposium themes.

Abstract Submission (Rilem-symposium)

This symposium uses electronic submission of abstracts and papers. To submit an abstract the principal author should first register with the Symposium extranet (see link below). After registration, to submit your abstract, login (see link below) to the Symposium Extranet and proceed to the abstract submission form found under the My Documents menu option. Fill out the form and cut and paste the abstract text in the appropriate box on the form. Please be advised that only plain text is accepted, no illustrations, pictures or tables are possible.
The extranet maintains versions of your abstract(s) and paper(s) so if you need to re-submit abstract / paper for any reason please re-submit it as a new version not a new document.
Authors will be notified by e-mail of abstract acceptance no later then 30th of April, 2009 and comments on abstracts by the Scientific Committee will be available to authors on the Symposium Extranet.

To submit your abstract for the Nordic Rheology Conference, please send an e-mail with your abstract to katja.nevalainen@tut.fi until 15th of April, 2009
